The beginning of the activity – the first store!
The first Litena store was opened in Panevezys, at Respublikos Str. 21. During the expansion of the company’s activities, we purchased a warehouse and opened an office at Paliuniskio Str. 1B. We started by importing small quantities of fabrics from Belgium and the United States of America.
The growing trust of customers and partners and the valuable experience and knowledge allowed us to expand the product range and increase sales volumes steadily.
1996
Public presentation – exhibition “Furniture and interior”
After warming our feet in the furniture fabric market, we decided to participate in our first exhibition – “Furniture and Interior ’96”. We wanted potential customers and partners to learn more about our company and the products we sell.
1997
We are expanding the geography of our activities
We started cooperation with the US furniture fabric company Microfibres. We became the official representatives of this company in the Baltic states.
2000
Partnership with the company Kadifeteks from Turkey
One of the largest textile companies from Turkey – Kadifeteks, trusted our competence and knowledge as furniture fabric specialists, and thus, we became partners whose products we sell to this day.

2010
Office in Vilnius
To expand the geography of our activities, we opened an office in the capital of Lithuania.

We have been on the market for almost 20 years, but we always strive to be seen and heard. Specialized exhibitions are the perfect place for that!
2016
Two new brands introduced
We participated in the “Furniture / Interior / Design” exhibition where presented two new brands – FR-One non-flammable materials for furniture and curtains, as well as Luxury Home textiles and home accessories.
